Be sure to agree on the cost of your cab fare before leaving for your destination. Chicago Transit (CTA) operates a vehicle from OHare to Jackson-Blue every 15 minutes. For assistance, please ask an employee at the airport or the terminal. Not ideal, but it is at least convenient to have this option and not have to re-clear security. I was in Terminal 3, expecting to depart there, but I soon realized AirBerlin now departs from Terminal 5. I transited O’Hare over the weekend for a business trip to Berlin. The average cost of a taxi is $15-20 to campus from Willard Airport or the Illinois Terminal. As Rohan reported there is now an O’Hare airside shuttle to Terminal 5. Pick up is available from downtown Chicago with drop-off at the Illinois Terminal in downtown Champaign. Greyhound (private bus company) has daily service between Chicago and Champaign.Pick up is available from Terminal 2 and Terminal 5 at the O'Hare International Airport with multiple drop-off points on-campus. ![]()
